RHS Day Tripper Palythoas are a new addition to our line of Coral Frags | LE Coral Frags | Chalice Coral Frag | Live Coral Frag | Reef Hot Spot. We pulled the Day Tripper Palythoa mother colony from a large load of Tongan corals that was imported in 2008. We knew the mother colony was special the moment we saw it unpacked. Unlike the common pink palys that originate in Tonga which are a single matt with minimal polyp extension, RHS Day Tripper Palys are characterized by large polyps with considerable extension. The bubble gum pink disk is highlighted by white skirt. Through the course of the last year, we've looked at thousands of palys imported from Tonga and have yet to see a comparable colony to the RHS Day Trippers.
