What is the compartment size needed for the unit (space needed for the float switch at the bottom of the unit)? Also, is the timer recommended and what is the cost wit the timer?

Compartment size required is 4" X 4". Timer is $20 add-onn, pre-programmed!

No, thank you! Have there been any reports of failures at this point, or any suggestions for improvements that will be implemented?
We have had 10 units in tanks around the Midwest for 3 years....NOT a SINGLE failure. The redundancies are buitl in to make failure FAR less likely to occur.

We are cirrently on the cusp of releasing a model that has a different hanging bracket to accommodate all RubberMaid sumps, also!
