DIY Moonlight Kit

This kit comes with 10 LEDs 10 resistors an EASY to follow schematic & the power supply! I have them on both of my tanks and they look awesome! all you need is a soldergun some solder and some wire "speaker wire works great." These LEDs are 4000mcd and 470nm which closely matches the wavelength of the moon. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Im selling these Kits for 12.00 + 3.00 shipping in the US. If your interested PM me.

How bout you let us know how much you charge if they are soldered together? Is there any reason you wont sell them that way? Most ppl might pay a bit more for you putting them together for them.

The reason I dont put them together is so people have the freedom to make them as long or as short as they want, they can make it to specificly fill there needs instead of getting something that is pre assembeled and have no choice but to use it as is and alot of people enjoy DIY prodjects, I know I do, plus I would have to charge more for my time.

Im not realy sure exactly what your working with or how your hood is made but im sure there is some way to mount them in there. Maybe you could mount them beside your light strip.

Unless your moonlights have a way to be adjusted for a lunar cycle I don't really understand what benefit they would have just to run them every night.
Anyone?

Benefit #1 They Look 1000X's better then just a dark tank. Benefit #2 You can see your fish and other creatures at night. I dont make claims that your corals will grow like mad or that your anemones will split every week with these moonlights but If you want to see your aquarium at night and see the nocturnal habits of your livestock then you will like this kit.

My only purpose for getting them is a little gentle night time viewing. I figured I would try to place one at each corner of our 2-DE pendents.
