30" Tessalata Moray Eel FS

Hi all.

I have 30 inch Tessalata Moray Eel availble to a good home.

I purchased this eel for $80 about 3 years. He was about 8 inches at the time.

He is now close to 30 inches after feeding him whole prawns and cut squid over the years. The picture shown are a 30 gallon tank, which measures 30 inches long. As you can see from the first picture. he is almost outstretched and he's about as long as the tank's length.

The 30 gallon tank was used to hold the fish for a few hours while I transferred them from a 100 gallon fish-only tank to a 55 gallon tank. I am downsizing and want to eventually make my 55 gallon tank into a reef tank with very limited fish. For now, I'm selling the eel.

I feed him whole prawns (about 2-3 inches in length) and cut up the squid to about 2-3 inches also. I buy the frozen prawns and squid at a local Asian market. My friends joke that I feed my fish eat better than I do them. It's almost true. I feed him every 2 or 3 days. With the large portions that he eats, he doesn't want to eat every day.
