Adding Blue Wave VII HQI ballast to the mix

Well turns out Sunlight Supply screwed me around with the return of the Blue Wave VII ballast I was planning on using to power another mod before I got this light, (was going to MOD and ORbit to add HQI). When I bought this light, I was orignally planning on using this VII BALLAST for this ODYSSEA light, but I decided to go with T5s now only.

So now I am offering the fixture and the BALLAST (with cords) to power the HQI for $325.00 +SH!

So you get the fixture and a nice 5 year warrantied, brand new name brand ballast to power this fixture for only $325+ SH.

Will allow local pickup for SOCAL Residents..

No you will need a HO 4xT5 ballast to run the T5s.. since they were included in the stock ballast. You, Can either run an external ballast or put them in the fixture if you are handy.

ok basically this light comes with its own ballast when you buy it that runs the HQI and the T5s. I heard bad things about the ballast quality, (capacitors frying) so I basically THREW THE STOCK BALLAST OUT when the light arrived, only used it for a minute, to check to see if the lights worked, (which they did) when it arrived.

I had already purchased a sunlight supply Blue WaveVII to run the HQI lights in another mod I was planning (PC to HQI) which I didnt do (sold that light as is) So the plan was to get this fixture and Use the BWVII on this fixture to power the HQIs, and for the T5s, I had planned to buy and install a DIY an Internal or EXTERNAL 4xT5HO ballast to run the T5s. That way I had name brand ballasts that I felt reliable to run the bulbs.

    Understand?

So basically all you need after buying this, is ONE HO 4 light - T5 ballast, and a little DIY skill to install the T5 ballasts into or connected to the light, in order to power 4x56W T5s you want to run this light.

You will need to do a bit more wiring to connect the BW VII to the HQI lines in the fixture. ALSO I do provide BOTH cords from the BWVII (a 50$ value) IF you buy what I am offering here.

its listed above.. But again for the light fixture and bulbs with the Blue Wave included i am asking 325$ + SH

I will ship the ballast and the light seperately.

Are you in SOCAL? If so come pick it up

You can shop around for the ballast for the T5s if you are slightly handy you can make this a VERY nice light with a reliable ballast for the HQI. VII Ballast also still has 4yr MFG warranty on it too.

    Also prefer paypal

    thanks
