I like to learn of those, who often sell SPS coral Frags

It will still be sometime before the 240 gal reef tank would be started up, but while waiting to hear from James on the damages for the rebuilding of the tank, im looking around the Internet for other SPS coral keepers in order that I may get together a list of those who I might be buying SPS coral frags from. Also being that I will not be doing the 180 gal tank as well in this, I would like the best stunning corals in both their beauty and coloration.

The LFS where I was last month, I ask to see their highest priced SPS coral for sale and I not remember the species of that coral, but it had no good colors in what I would be interested in and they had it priced at $155 and was about 4.5"

I told many before that I wanted so much in changing the sump that was put in on this 240, but we learn that the sump was put in before the tank was on its stand, were no way of taking it out other then to go through much more extra expense in taking everything apart from this tank.
Im still waiting to hear from James on his figures for what needs to be accomplished here, in the rebuilding of my 240. He had taking pictures, and im waiting to get them so that I might download them for images, before and after.

When im ready with both the 40 QT and it main SPS system, I will be more interested if im more able to buy a large number of frags at one time, rather then in buying a few every time.

So I need to touch base with those who sell often many SPS corals, and those who want to have my business in this, will be notified no less then two months when the tanks will be ready.

Also, if you been a huge seller in SPS corals, you most likely had shown many coral from your main tanks, would it be possible to view those threads? That is just so that I could see your main tank systems in the corals you all would be making frags from.

I spoken last about the chiller problem, that the lfs guy had put in a 1/4 hp chiller, I found a new 1/2 hp chiller that I could add much later on if needed. It will however be on its own return pump.

Hopefully their are many here who are selling SPS coral frags.

I gone to rare coral links, lease is what they called it and their selling frags as small as 1/2" to a 1" only and prices are way too high.

PS. I also forgotten to mention that I will be very interested in having acan, ricordea and clams as well>

Many of our sponsors sell frags and collected corals at very reasonable prices.

Re: I like to learn of those, who often sell SPS coral Frags

Thanks, OK, I will view down the list of Reefland sponsors, for even to pay $70 for a Coral, if its a decent size frag and price really isn't everything to what im looking to do here. Lease of all, I have no wish that is to be cheated any of a look alike coral. As I seen those rare coral links were they list prices averaging around $100+. im to understand that they use certain lighting and digital camera technics to enhance their coral frag photos coloration to be far more extreme then they really appear to be.
Scott, Im not within any idea to spend only $20-30 for a frag of around 2" or so, I really would like the best possible coloration of corals that I could obtain here. And being that im now to only have one main SPS system, I no wish to buy just any coral, and then there will be corals listed for sale to which im to have any number of questions. For keep in mind Scott, at this point in my life in the marine hobby, I not for the love of me can figure out why I waited all this long to keep and maintain SPS corals. This as well goes for acan, ricordea and clams as well.

Im hoping that the cost in the rebuilding will not be too much more, I already put up the cash amount of $2,600 and then were the cash that I will get from the selling of a 150 gal tank setup, as well cash from the ballast that were taking out from these tanks. So im figuring that I might have around $3,500+ down for the rebuilding of both the 40 gal breeder QT and 240. I told James that I will need the 40 completed at the same time for all new arrivals will be housed in this tank for a period of 6-8 weeks.

I just hope that the cost will not cause any more of delays in starting these tanks, I been waiting much too long. Its a bummer being disabled and as young as I be, but I think that I keep an open mind and stuck within the idea of doing this project from the first time I gotten the thought in doing so, more then nine years ago. And im still within the idea for the twin tank system to do softies and house two pair of eels in those tanks, Ribbons has been the thought for the larger of the two tank system. For the smaller of the two tanks, the 70 gal tank, I not had made up my mind as yet to which pair of eels I would go with, im often figuring I might go with a pair of pseudochromid (Dottyback), Carpet Eel Blenny.

I will now, if not later on go over Reefland sponsors threads, Thanks
    Buddy
