    Re: whammin watermelon zoas

What lighting do these need? How much for shipping to Georgetown, TX (near Austin)? My blue damsel went after some golden polyps I used to have, but has ignored all other coral, do you think he would attack these? How large are the individual polyps?

shipping to TX will be $10 for 2nd day delivery. I've send about 4-5 down to TX already and they all arrived in good condition. As for lighting, If you have coral in your tank I'm pretty sure these will do good but It depends on what type of lights and how big your tank is so I can't really say. these are under LEDs at 50% max and that is very high for them because if I make the LEDs go to 55% or higher they wont open so right now the lights that they are under are the maximum that they can handle. the individual polyps I don't know exactly but I guess I could round them off to about the size of the O key on your keyboard and each frag has 20+ polyps. When I had a blue damsel it never attacked my zoas so maybe yours is just different but I cant really make an assumption if it will pick at them or not. I recommend you get rid of that fish anyway it will be a real pain in the future since they are aggressive towards other fish.

I know damsels are mean, but this one is full grown and just a bit nippy, also he is my favorite.
