For Sale (In Chicago Area) Oceanic 110 RR
I am moving to Portland Or. Sept 12 and I need to get this out of my apartment. Apts in Portland won't let me have such a big tank.
It is 5 Month's old. I'll give a list of equipment for sale below. Hopefully most of the Fish will be gone by This weekend along with some of the liverock, but I'm willing to sell whatever's left. I'm looking for around $1500 minus whatever I get rid of before hand. I will not be able to help too much with moving this tank as I will be busy moving my other stuff. Please email me with inquires. 1 Oceanic 110Gallon Reefready (Oak) 1 Modified Oceanic 110 Stand and cap (Oak) 1 Custom Sea Life 48" Dual 96 Watt Power compact (8800K)(5 Months used) 1 Supreme MAG 9.5 Pump 2 175 Watt Metal Halide lamps with Ballasts (5 month's used 12000K) ~200lbs Live sand (sugar sand/Aragonite/Silica) ~60lbs Live Rock Various Coral Skeletons with various sealife on them. 1 Hippo Tang (Yellow Tailed Blue) 1 Yellow Tailed BLue Damsel 1 Neon Damsel (larger Damsel) 2 Green Chromis Various Hermit crabs Various snails. What are the dimensions of your tank, stand, etc. Interested in the Mag, lighting, LR. I'm near Belmont/Harlem, thanks, Bill.

The stand and Tank are 60 inches long. I apoligize that I don't remember width and height. Oceanic seems to have discontinued this tank size.
The tank is in Schaumburg right across the street from Motorola Center. I will find out later today if I have a buyer for the whole tank and will get back to you otherwise. Anyone have any suggestions of petstores that may take the tank? |

No It has not been sold yet, unfortunatly, I am now in Portland an My Fiancee' is on the road. Anyone interested Please contact me and I will arrange with friends back in Chi-town that have access to the tank.
Also, Just FYI, the tank is empty, but due to time constraints, I didn't clean it, so there's about 150lbs of formerly live, now dead sand and the tank walls have algea. Because of this I'm willing to negogiate price. |

I was wondering if you are willing to sell the fish seperately? I live close by and I can come pick them up? Let me know at nikscichs@insightbb.com

Folks this thread is over four years old!!!
He already said that the tank was drained having only live (dead) rock in it. Not to mention, at the time of his sale, I was having a hard time getting him to reply to messages and I live only a few miles from him. Bill. Last edited by billzie; 12-22-2005 at 07:57 AM. |
