$190 brand new including reflector and 6.5k bulb.= premium aquatics. Maybe hard to sell for $285. Sounds like LFS price.

IRONREEF,
There is no reason to bud in on someones post and tell people how much things cost new and buy the way it already sold.

I am glad you sold your lights blue but I am a newbie to this board and it does really help the buyer when someone else gives an alternative. Most of the time I have little clue as to what the price of certain equipment should be because I am new to reef scene and people's post do help me in making a wise decision and investment.

When you reply like this person insulted you with his price. Like the ballast was low when $175 you can get brand new. I can't help myself I always will try to send/direct someone to a lower priced product if I think they can get a bettter deal. I will usually stay out off ppl post but the guy offered more than I would or most ppl who know where to buy fair priced equipment. I would hate to see someone selling equipment and watch ppl buy it for way to much. I suggest anyone buying used to search the web first if they don't know prices. I don't recommend ppl sell there stuff for dirt cheap either but when new cost less than used well I tend to but in.I can't help it

Actually I offered $175 for all of it.
(Both sets)

Premium Aquatics has this setup NEW for
$335. And thats with Iwasaki 65K's (great bulb).

I believe he meant ballast(s) not ballast.
Both ballasts alone can be purchased at many places for
less than $175.

In any case, blue was not insulting and I'm happy for him
that he sold it.

BTW, I'm not a newbe.

Cheers everyone!

Bubba

I guess all the missing( s )made a diff. Sounded like the offer was for one not all. All would be cheap and a good deal. But When I read the post it sounds like ONE
