wtb used 80-125 acrylic...
...tank in So. California. Bad condition OK as long as it holds water, will be sealed up and used for water transport in my van. Cheap!

I am not sure if you have this in mind but there are some acrylic tanks being sold at the recycler website for southern california.
100 Gallon Acrylic 60x18x20, Overflow on side, good condtition. TANK ONLY $125 100 gallon aquarium(Sea Clear tank). Good condition. Blue back. $100 They were still available last time I checked but I wanted something bigger. Good luck, Dat |

Thanks Dat, but I am hoping to find something damaged or really scratched up that nobody would use for fish tank, maybe $50 or so. I have barrels but my pick-up is down and I'm driving van these days, barrels don't work so well. Hey, how did that 60 deal work out? Did you get it set up? I have completed the sump, header tank and tank rack for my multi-tank breeder system in garage. Will have three 60's (split) and two 40's plus 50 gal head tank and 50 gal sump. Need to haul lots of water now!

Everything going well but I think I am going to buy an even bigger aquarium. Possibly >120 gallon. Gotta save up though.
There was a free 300 gallon aquarium with a small crack on the bottom for free and 3-4 spa units for free (in working condition) in the recycler. I just didn't have the truck to transport. |
