Need an emerald mithrax crab in NJ/NY

Looking for an emerald mithrax crab to help with a valonia outbreak in a 12 gal nano. I had one in the past that kept everything under control, but after getting rid of all of the valonia, proceeded to scrape a bunch of my coralline off, so I traded him in. That was back when the tank had just started to form the fun, pink stuff, and I didn't want to lose it. Now the tank is well-established, and there is an abundance of coralline, so I think I can deal with some loss in exchange for valonia control.

swaps, cash or donations welcomed or even borrowing the little bugger. Would prefer to go with a local reefer in the northern NJ / southern NY area.

Tough patootee. Begging again I see. Someone please let this man have some dignity and "loan" him a crab.

I have one but I couldn't catch him if I wanted to. I am going to get some more in 2 weeks. Are you saying that you can't get any or that you just want to use it or them temporarily ? I forgot to tell you I finally got the Prizm to skim right. You have to let it get funky looking for it to work good...

Let me know if you just wanted a crab and they weren't available to you. Because I could always hook up with you to get you some.

WHOA! Easy boy! As if the market & the rest of the world isn't beating me up enough.....

Just looking for one, or somewhere local to buy one, etc. With three stocked nanos, there really isn't much room to add more livestock, so shipping a $5 crab with overnight shipping of $20 seems a little extravagant. My LFS (Pets Place II, Nanuet) STILL doesn't have their new marine systems back up & running, and they can usually pick one up for me. Man, their new tanks have been installed for a few months now, but problems with return pumps have left them EMPTY. Somewhere in the 3-4,000 gallon range. Can't wait.

If you're putting in an order or have a local LFS with some, let me know, and we can split shipping (OK, I could probably find something else to throw in the tank too) or I can zip out near you: yuo're over the Tappan Zee, right? Maybe a field trip to your local LFS could be fun, now that my weekends are freed up (house appraisal was finished this week! Woo-hoo!)
