WTB: Icecap ballast

How about this instead. IMO much more realiable and will power a wide selection of bulbs without being re-tuned.

IC mh ballast have posed some problems for quite a few reefers.


I have (2) of the LN's and they work great.

premiumaquatics.com has a similar unit to the one mentioned above in the closeouts section for $100. HTH, Bill.

I have a 175W advance ballast but it seems to draw a lot of electricity. Thinking an electronic ballast would be more cost efficient. Thats why im interested in the icecap. Is this true?
