it would probably be cheaper to just go and buy one at marinedepot rather someone charging you 15 bucks and then pay shipping.,

Maybe, maybe not. I know what it's like to have a piece of equipment just laying around wishing someone would pop up who could use it. I'll give this a chance and if it doesn't work I'll buy it from a business.
