FS in Oregon: Dual PFO 400W EYE Ballast
Although this ballast will run 10K bulbs (and sometimes 20K), it is designed for 65K Iwasaki bulbs. It burns those bulbs both brighter and whiter than a regular MH ballast (with nearly 2x the par of 10K bulbs). This particular ballast is approximately one year old and has the old-style molex sockets (the kind of connector/socket used by ice cap). I believe that an adaptor can be purchased ($5 each) to convert the two sockets to the new 3-prong style or you can wire the connection yourself. Retail price new on the net (at Marine Depot, for example) about $146 + shipping. I am asking $85 + shipping.
Note: the shipping weight for this item is 45 lbs., and I will add the actual shipping cost to the price once I know where it will be going. I live in Oregon (97405) and here are a couple of sample shipping costs (via UPS ground): $41 to Baltimore, MD.; $22 to Los Angeles, CA. |

Im interested in it, I live in california, and $85 + $22 shipping sounds fair..
Can you email me a picture or do you have a link to this ... I am just concerned that I will be able to find the proper 10k bulbs for it or having to find the proper adapter for it... Mario |
