THis is my used Lifereef "Slim" Prefilter Box. It was purchased in Febuary of last year (2001), and was used on my 55 gallon reef ever since. I have just taken that tank down, that's why it's for sale. The original instruction sheet does come with the unit.

Here are the specs of the box taken from Lifereef's website:

* Large 1 1/8" ID siphon tube flows up to 700 gph.
* Double-prefilter box flows 1400+ gph.
* Auto-start when power resumes after power out or pump shut-off
* 1 1/2" vertical adjustment on inner prefilter box
* Inner box cannot be knocked out of vertical alignment
* Will not overflow, even if foam element is dirty
* Easily cleaned foam filter element
* 1" male thread output fitting and included barbed attachment fitting. Can be used on any filter or sump.
* Fits all aquarium rims and can also be made to fit acrylic aquarium rims

* Slim model only requires 3" space behind aquarium!
