Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to sell my reef tank.
I'm trying to sell it as a whole, I know that's wishful thinking, and I’ll give it until July 19th. After that I'll be parting it out, I'll post separate prices later. Equipment: 240 acrylic 96x24x24. stand made to match southwestern styling. canopy. 2 175w MH 6 months on bulbs. 6 140w VHO 6 months on bulbs. lights are mounted on reflector and comes with fans. refugium/grow-out tank under stand about 90 gallons. lights for refugium, two PC fixtures 2x36w ea. new bulbs. Mag 7. protein skimmer, brand?, venturi w/rio 2500 hp works great, I don't really use it much. calcium reactor, works really well made a world of difference to my tank, w/reg, bottle and pumps. Wavemaker. 4-maxijet 900. Fish: 1 purple tang. 1 yellow tang. 1 flame hawk. 1 domino damsel. 1 green chromis. 4 bangaii cardinals, two of them are a mated pair the other two are their offspring. 1 yellow head jawfish. 2 lawnmower blennies. Inverts: lots of scarlet hermits. snails different varieties. sounds like there's a pistol shrimp in there. 2 beautiful and large harlequin shrimp, always breeding. hundreds of those little white stars. Bugs galore. Corals: I’m not very good at ID ing corals, so I’ll send pics of anything you may have a question on. 1 ex large lobophytum, you won’t get this in a tank less than 18” wide. 1 medium green top lobophytum. 1 large green finger leather. 1 medium green finger leather. 1 small green finger leather. 1 sm/med green brain. Lots of xenia. A few different colored acropora. Many different kinds of mushrooms, some orange ricordia. Blue sponge. 1 pink birds nest. 1 large plate coral thing. Some colt corals. 1 scroll coral. There are a few corals that I can’t ID, they’re probably not rare, but I can’t remember what they’re called. Misc: There’s lots of life in the refugium, mini stars, pods, etc. much caulerpa and halimeda too. About 200 lbs of live rock 100 lbs of live sand. This tank has been running well for seven years, I really hate to get rid of it, but….. I’m asking $2500. obo, and I’d like to sell it whole. I won’t be able to ship, but I may be able to find someone who will ship something to you for me, not sure on that yet. BTW, I live in Fallbrook,Ca., it’s near San Diego. If your interested in getting the tank or seeing some component or animal, I can email pictures to you. I’m sure I’ve missed something, so if you have questions, email me at; Fishhead99@netzero.net Or rudysf@tfb.com Thank you, Rudy. |

Rudy, I'm interested in the Bangaii cardinals. I'll be in the area on 9/13/03 for the MASLAC/SCMAS Sea World tour. Maybe we can work something out.
