What Tangs do you guys know of that stay under 10 inches? The only one I know of is the yellow tang. Thanks.

As for size, smaller species will usually realize only six to eight inches in total length in captivity while the largest ones may attain two feet or more. Under ideal conditions, the "big" Acanthurids attain larger proportions more quickly, growing a handful of inches a year. As size is considered during the purchase of these fishes, buying any Tang under three inches in length is not endorsed. In turn, larger specimens or adults will generally acclimate with more difficulty.

All the above listed need a 75-100 gal tank to do well. That is the nature of tangs.
