Exclamation Help Asap Fish Dying,...

i've had a marron clownfish for 3 years now and i noticed tonight i was feeding him and he was fine then all the sudden he was on his side eating and staying that way. he trys to swim but he kinda stays on his side at the top. Its' mainly to one side he stays. Do you think he has swim bladder or what? All my test kits are not here so ijsut filled the water up and then turned out the light so he won't be so stressed. Can anyone help? sorry for the spelling, i'm really worried, he's my first ever fish and my baby.

oops lol. I was just frantic.

Its a 12 gallong eclipse, (yes i know it's small but i've kinda been down grading for the past 2 years, went from a 45 to a 30 to a 20 and now a 12. Kept moving!) But he's been in this one for almost almost 8 months now. He's the only fish I have, I've got 3 hermit crabs, purple sea urchin, choclate star fish, and a red starfish that has no legs left on it ( poor guy) I have the required lights with it and lots of live rock. I've been dealing with saltwater for about 12 years now and worked in a pet shop for about 7 years in the fish dept and bird dept, (besides the point lol) but I've never seen anything like this.

He's still swimming a little funny this morning. I think I'm gonna do a water change and change the filter pad. It looks like some kind of bladder problem I've seen on freshwater fish, but i've never seen it on saltwater. He's still sleepng but I'm afraid to turn on the light for more stress but then again that's the only way i can see if he's gonna swim sideways again. Any help ?
