How can I get rid of the brown Alge in my tank? My tank has been set-up for about 7 weeks now. I use DI water for Make-up and water changes. HELP!

You can wait it out. It's part of the normal cycle.

Exactly. To see brown algae is normal during a tanks cycle and even some time after the cycle. I wouldn't bother taking any special steps to remove it; keep up with the normal maintanence and give it a bit of time, it will clear out.
Here's a search that I performed on diatoms if your interested in doing some reading. ![]() http://www.reefland.com/forum/search.php?searchid=10365 Regards, Scott Z. |
