setup blues

i got a 30 gal tank. i have a penguim 330. a power head that rotate and 214 gph. i got a 300waltt heater. and waiting to get a protein skimmer called Seaclone Protein Skimmer (Aq. Systems). What do your think about this and about the protein skimmer i'm thinking about buying. What else do your think i need?. Do your think i need another power head? I got a media basket and fill both side with cylnder ceramic. any opion on this and wut media would your recommend. I'm a newbie at SW but a long time freshwater.

i also have a 5 gal tank. been cycle for 3 week and got a live rock in it. got a 10 gal filter and also a 25 watt heater any thing else tat your recommend?

Im new to salt too, long time freshwater. Everyone here and eles where says sea clones suck, but thats just what I heard.

They recomened my a AquaC Remora, kinda pricey but from everything I read its great, might be too big, but dont take my word as fact, its just what ive been told.

I recommend taking it very slow and do plenty of reading on different brands of equipment before going much further. As mentioned, Sea Clones are not a popular skimmer for serious hobbyist. I know the price is right but typically in this endeavour, anything that has a low price has low performance.
