You need the same basic equipment as in a full size tank , only smaller. You need a tank, skimmer , heater , Lights (what kind depend on what you will have in the tank) Some sort of filtration , be it live rock and sand , can filter (although I would not recommend this for a Nano) or whatever you may choose. You also need something to circulate water. This may be taken care of with your filtration or you may need to put in a couple small powerheads.
