Question live rock

hey!

1 question. can you just put live rock right into your tank with out acclimating or rinsing it off?

Sure. The only time you should worry about rinsing it would be if you got transhipped liverock and you were washing it thoroughly with some saltwater to remove die off and unwanted pests. Otherwise, you should add live rock directly to your tank which is prepared with the correct salinity and temperature.

thanks, i just added the rock, and i also vacummed the gravel bed, and it emptied out almost a gallon of water, and before my salinity was 1.023, and now its around 1.021, do you think that is to much of a change in water condition if i already have a damsel in there?

That shouldn't hurt the damsel, but its best to keep the salinity as close as possible the same.
