blue leg crabs

hey!

i just bought 2 blue legs yesterday, and when i woke up this morning they were both this there, but there was another one stranded on a rock without a shell, do you think this was a baby? or a hitchhiker on one of my rocks or how could have this guy have gotten there?

I'll bet it was a molted shell.... One of your crabs shed an exoskeleton he had outgrown.
