Parasite????

Ive had a flame angel about one month now,and about one week ago it devloped one single white ''pimple'' on its lower side.This fish acts great,eats good,no scratching,no other spots have shown up on any other fish or any other place on the flame...the spot hasnt gotten bigger or smaller just stays the same.I did start a treatment of " NO ICH " 5 days ago as a precaution but im just not sure its a parasite.......any ideas would be appreciated.................

I am replying because my hippo tang appears to have the same kind of pimple, except it has about 7 or 8 of them. The first pimple appeared around two weeks ago, but the tang showed no signs of distress at first. With 7 or 8 of them and some areas of his body bleaching out, the tang seems a little troubled now. I believe it is something called "lymphocytsis", a digestive system illness. I have been over feeding the tank for the past week because I wanted to reduce food competition for a new wrasse. It was probably a wrong move. If someone can ID and suggest solutions for the problem, it would be great. Also, would garlic soaked food help fight it? Thanks a lot.

Sounds like both of your fish has ich, 1 of them worse than the other. Here are 2 good threads for both of you to read:
