Selcon?

I just picked up a bottle of Selcon, and was wondering how you guys go about using it. I take 2 frozen cubes, let them thaw and soften up a bit, and drop some selcon on each, allowing it to soak it up. I then take some tank water in a small container, place the cubes in so they can fully thaw, and dump it in the tank. If someone has any other suggestions, or a different method they go by, I'd like to hear what you have to say. I am still trying to treat my domino for ich with the garlic, and do you think the selcon will help it out? my 20 gal. QT is still in the process of being set up, Im waiting till its up to move my fish into it. Any information will be appreciated. thanks
