hey wind thanks for the reply. well im not exactly sure what the water parameters are at the moment. right now its a FOWLR tank set up and i have abt 8 fishes in a 75 gal tank. my tank has been ok for the past year or more. ive done regular water changes. but all of a sudden when i wake up this morning i see a dead fish and 2 of my other fishes with white spots all over their body.

You really need to perform water test looking for ammonia, nitrite and the nitrate.

ya. i think it's water chemistry.. with a tank that has been up for a year or more, something odd must have happened.

something must have stressed the fishes out badly to have them develop ich.. probably related to water quality.

    listing equipment helps to.
good luck. hopefully u can post some parameters.. !

You can do a water change to insure water quality, as that is the number one thing. But you really need to see the numbers to give you an idea to pinpoint. You could up their diets, soak their food in vitamins and what not.
