If no skimmer than weekly water change 2-5 gallons is good

I would agree that weekly 5 gallon water changes would be great to continue as long as all parameters matched between the new ASW and current ASW at the time of change.

You shouldn't have any problems with ammonia, nitrite and nitrate and for your make up water, I wouldn't bother with them; I thought you were talking in general what should you test for.

For make up water for a water change, I would make the the temp and salinity matched and you could use a small bit of any 2 part additive to help bring up the calcium and alk a bit.
