Hello everybody,
Well, I'm back with the same problem "white spot disease". I've tried few thinks and looks like it was working but just for a little whileDuring this time I've read a lot about this problem ( thanks a lot to this forum !) and I see only one way to beat it.
I'm going to set up a "quarantine tank", put there all my fish and treat it with copper medication and let main tank stay without fish for six weeks.
But I need few advises.
First: What size the QT has to be ? My main tank is 30gl, but I'm planning to have a biger tank later, and right now I have in: blue-spotted jawfish 1-1/2", Flame Angelfish 2", Blue Velvet Damselfish 2", Ocellaris Clownfish 1-1/2" and Clarkii Clownfish 2", also I have Blood Red Fire-Shrimp and two Fancy Brittle Stars about 6" diametr each.
My second question is: Can I keep shrimp and star fish in the main tank while another fish will stay for six weeks in QT ?
And my last question. I hope I'm finally going to beat the "white spot" problem. I want to add some plants to my tank and I need cleaners too.
What would you recommend me to add for 30gl tank and how much/many ? ( Just I don't want to have any crabs in this tank :eek3: )
Thank you very much for your help and time !
Maria
