i am so happy with this rock that i got,it has that purple stuff all over it and it has these red mushrooms on it i am in ahhhhhhhh neat stuff. my husband found a place that was only an hour away and we got it for 6.00 a ppund so we 20lb of it. i am really hopeing this will help my tank i have had a big problem with high nitrites for 3 1/2 weeks and still running high. maybe you guys can help with this, this is what i think,i did have fish in there got them out when the nitrits spiked and thought okay i am starting to cycle so i got some live sand put it in and waited a week still very high waited another still high so i am thinking i bought dead sand and it just add to the biload, i don't know kinda crazy!!! so i have the live rock now and am really hoping this will bring it down. from the people i have talked to locally in the lfs they say put in the live rock. thank you all for your help these sites are great and they have alot of information for people like me who are just starting and who have made mistakes. thanks again
