BlackSpot/ICH..not sure

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but here it goes...

Hello everyone,
I have had a Yellow Tang now for about a month. I noticed he was scratching himself against the rocks, so I wanted to get a closer look. On his face, there appears to be black dots, almost like pimples. I will try to get a picture of it and submit, but in the meantime, is this a form of ich, or is it blackspot disease? The Tang is eating just fine, and is very active. Anything you all could suggest would be great. Thanks,
Mike

Had the same on my Yellow. Very small black spots.About 5 on his one side. No scratching though. I didn't feed for 3 days and my Cleaner Wrass got more interested in the fish rather than the usuall daily "easy" food dropped in. I think he has pecked them off what ever they are. They have gone and my Yellow is clear. I was also wondering what they were but before they got worse or I posted a question, they were sorted out. Do you have a Cleaner Wrass or Shrimp?

My Shrimp also does a good job grooming the fish. The fish spend the most of the day linnig up with the Cleaners, either or. Great to watch and they are an asset to the tank.

Regards Sam

Thanks Sam. I will look into getting a cleaner Wrasse as well once I get my water just right.
