Snowflake eel
what causes my eel to have a crooked jaw.

I've seen this on a couple of eels before. It's likely caused by the fish dislocating it's jaw while eating. If it strikes at food and happens to hit the glass or a piece of rock or other aquarium decor, it can happen. I've seen them dash across the length of the tank only to hit the opposite side rather sharply. The jaw can sometimes return to normal. As long as the fish can eat, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
