Thumbs down help tank levels

I have a 33 gal with 2 whisper filter 60s on the back. Ihave treated with prime and can't get the ammonia or ph, nitrites or nitrates down to an acceptable level. They are staying quite high no matter what i do. What else will help besides prime to get them under control? Thanks all

Prime will not help get them under control either; in fact there is nothing marketed that will reduce nitrite, nitrate or ammonia.

How old is this tank? Any livestock in it?

Im kinda new here and dont know how much I can help, but what do you have in the tank? LR? LS? It almost sounds as though the tank hasn't finished cycling or something's dead somewhere in there. When did you notice the levels as high? For what I understand if your ammonia levels are high, you can have things continually dying off in the tank thats keeping them high...not by any means an expert yet, but just trying to help.

The problem is you have an inadequate tank holding that much livestock. You should remove all of the triggers as none of them are suited in that small of an environment. Simply put, no other remedy; nothing you can do will change the levels in this tank at it's current state and nothing you can do will prevent these fish from dying; sucess of a marine tank is not measured over the course of months.

I can't imagine trying to keep your tank (33G) clean with 4 triggers in it. I have a 90G, and it is hard enough keeping it clean, let alone his aggressiveness towards my other livestock. Triggers need a lot of room for swimming. They may seem fine now, but as they grow they can be aggressive towards each other if the tank does not provide enough room for them.
Scott is right. You will never get acceptable levels with triggers in that tank.
