Lightbulb Tang Compatibility Question

Currently, I have a Yellow Tang, a Niger Trigger, and a couple of Damsels. I saw a juvenile Naso Tang last night at my LFS. I amost bought him, but resisted the temptation because I wanted to check with you guys, as I always do, to make sure the Yellow and Naso would be ok together. If not, then I will most likely buy the Porcupine Puffer they had there as well instead. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I think your maxed out on large fish in your 55 gallon. Finding a couple of smaller, less active fish would be a much better choice for your tank and the fish.

I have a 90G FO 48" tank. I figured I would have enough room in there for at least a few more fish.

In my opinion, a 90g tank is only large enough for one tang. In fact both of my nineties have only five fish in each of them, and only one tang in each.

Both the naso tang and the porcupine puffer have maximum adult lengths of 18" in the wild. I don't think either one is a good choice for a 90-gal tank. Most so-called experts recommend anywhere from 300-500 gallons as the minimum size aquarium for a nazo tang. They really need a lot of swimming room.

I tried adding a naso and a yellow eyed tang to my 125 at seperate times. Both times the yellow would not have it. He would shadow them and not let them eat. It was a good excuse to set up another tank. I now have a naso in his own tank.

ok. Any sugggestions as to what other semi-aggressive/aggressive fish I can add at this point? The Trigger, Tang, and the 2 Damels are getting along just fine. As long as the new comer will get along with them I am all ears.
