Flame Hawk kill Arrow Crab?

My flame hawk is driving me crazy. First he ate the eye out of my pygmy cherub angelfish. Then he killed my royal gramma. Then ate all of my snails, turbo and tulip. Now my arrow crab is missing. Could the hawk be the culprit? This fish was so awesome and peaceful at first but has become so aggressive its crazy. He has grown but not a lot. My tank is small but even so I don't understand how other reefers keep the hawk with things like snails, shrimp etc. Any information and advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Those fish will eat/try to eat anything that fits in their mouth and I am not surprized at all that he's agressive towards snails or crabs. They will also fight with other fish that could be competitors for the same prey. From personal experience I can say that wrasses and hawks don't get along real well but I am not sure about any other fish as I never kept those that you mentioned.

Shrimps,small crabs and some snails are all in danger with the hawks, however, I love the personality...

your right the personality is awesome but i need some find some tankmates that he can get a long with in my small setup.........or find a better home for him
