Green "bubbles"

I notice on my rock that there are a bunch of green "blobs" (for lack of a better term). I thought they may be snail eggs but I don't see any life inside.

Anyone know what these things are? they are different sizes, the smallest about the size of a nail head and the largest about the size of an eraser. They are clear so you can see inside them. They've been there for a while.

thanks for any info,
Nate

If you could post a pic that would be great but it sounds to me like you have bubble algae. Some hate it but I don't mind it. If you don't have a problem with crabs and wanna get rid of it get emerald crabs.
Here is a link that might help you with an ID

That looks like it's it. Thanks Samper. Can it turn into a problem? do they pop?

If you try to remove them from your tank do it very carefully cause yes they can pop. If they do they get everywhere. Some consider it a problem but in my situation they haven't gotten out of control. I do have an emerald crab that tames the beast for me.
