Well, other than the fact that tangs seem to be extremely susceptible to parasites (do a search on Ich) and should definitely be quarantined prior to placement in the display tank (typically 4-6 weeks) I think they're very nice. I have two baby hippo's in qt right now, being treated for some strange disease, and lemme tell ya, 3 times now I was certain the biggest one was a goner, but each time, I get up in the morning and he's doing fine (considering, that is...)
But for as teensy as this guy is (less than 1") I'd say that's rather impressive.

I'm sure others with more experience with these will chime in, I'm by no means an expert with this fish

Brian35, Sueet is correct. I had a major problem with a tang due to the fact that they are very susceptible to ich. They are ich magnets. Do some ich searching and then make your judgement. I personally think that they are very nice looking fish but what a pain it can be if you get ich in your tank.

What size tank do you have Brian? Minimum size tank for a commonly available tang (Naso, Yellow, Hippo, etc.) would be a 75 gallon tank.

i currently have a 55 with one yellow (one of my first fish 4-5 years ago) and he seems to have enough room. Another tang may be too tight a fit, on second thought.

I do want to go up in tank size maybe early next year i can wait till then to get another tang

That is a very wise and ethical choice my friend. They may look to have enough room but they can feel crowded pretty easily which leads to stress; these guys need some swimming room.
