Fish selection

Hi all,
First off my tank is a 55g FO with about 40lbs of live rock and is still in the process of cycling, only been about a week. I would like to have 4 or 5 of the Blue green Chromis ( for schooling effect ). I was wondering if I could add them all at once or just add 2 at a time, when Tank is finished cycling. I was planning on getting them first. The rest of the fish I would like to get would be:
2 Clowns
1 Royal Gramma
1 coral beauty Angel

Also would 8 or 9 fish be to many for this tank? Right now I only have a Hot Magnium filter, AquaC Remora pro skimmer and 2 power heads for water flow.
I'm planning on a 20g sump with more LR, but that will have to be down the road.

Thanks,
Steve

Hi gbtrain,

I think you will be just fine with your selection of fish. Make sure to add them slowly over the course of several months and you will be good. Nice selection of fish too.

i think the 8 to 9 would be too many.. unless you are talking about 6 or so chromis.. and 2 or 3 show fish...

With the size of the Clowns and the Chromis, I think you will be fine with your list but no more.

Thanks for the advice on the fish. Yes those would be all the fish. The only other thing would be some snails, a couple shrimp and a few hermit crabs. Once again thanks for all the advice.
