anemone in FO

hi everboby,

is It possible to keep one anemone in a fish only system ?

I have total watts : 120w for 75 gallons tank,

2 fluorescente 10000k 30w
2 actinic 30w

and the koran angel fish can eat anemone ?

I forgot, also my tank decor is white coral skeleton helps to reflect a little bit light.

Sergio,

For starters, your lighting isn't adequate for an anemone. They would require stronger lighting.

Here is some information on the Koran Angelfish, including comments on its natural diet as a juvenile and then as an adult. It's diet changes as it matures. You will also note that the author, Robert Fenner, recommends that adult Koran Angelfish only be kept in large tanks of several hundred gallons. Unfortunately, a 75-gal tank is not really large enough for any of the larger species of angelfish. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/marine/fi...thus/koran.htm

it might be possible for now. but your anemone will require frequent daily feeding. but as said above your lighting does need to be upgraded. get vho florecents at least. or get a metal halide. but feed the poor thing.
