Water current..
I currently have a powerhead, a skimmer, and carbonless filter running for tank current in a 55.
whats a good layout for flow? what directions and where do i want to poing the current for the best results? Thanks

Brian,
Only you can really determine where to point the water flow. The best result is to make sure there aren't any spots in the tank that are not receiving any flow; that's your best bet. ![]() |

i would think the best spot would be in a spot where its not obstructing the flow.example; dont point the powerhead at a big rock. what good is a powerhead pointing at 1 rock. especially if you only have 1 powerhead. i would point it so it circulates the whole tank water. you want the whole tank water moving with no stagnat water areas. if you dont have enough water flow detris will build up in a certain spot and rot and cause pollution. if that spots is moving then the flow of detris will be sucked in your mechanical filter. then you can remove the detris and it will not cause pollution.
