Disappearing 6 Line Wrasse

55 gallon FOWLR tank with a maroon clownfish, bar bogy, yellowtail damsel and various inverts including common hermit, bahama star, black brittle, snails, small hermits, arrow and sally crabs. My 6 line wrasse disappears for long periods of time. didn't think anything of it because he always reappears. This time he has been gone for almost 2 days without a sighting and I'm guessing he is gone and was then eaten by the bahama. He seemed healthy before his last disappearance, was eating, and had no obvious physical abnormalities. I'm new at this and dont have much experience with wrasses. does this sound familiar or make sense to anyone?

So are you still missing your wrasse? By now I'd be thinking he's gone. I'm certainly no expert as I'm only a year into this, but I have a lyrtail wrasse and he dissappears for 2 to 3 days at a time. I have no idea where he goes. He has his own claimed sleeping spot where he burrows into the sand, but he goes somewhere else. Someone mentioned once that he might burry himself in the sand, as wrasses like to burrow like that. Anyway, I'm told it is normal for them to dissappear. Anyone if there still isn't any sign of him by now, I'd say that he either buried himself under the sand and died or the bahama got him.
