Help with Marble Wrasse
Where can I find more info on Marble Wrasse? I got one from the lfs and ever since I did, it hasn't eaten (that I've noticed). When I feed the fish they all eat except the Wrasse, it comes up to the food and either looks at it and swims away or it snaps beside the food. It will even grab a rock beside the food instead of the food. I feed them krill, flakes, and brine and still no luck. It has been 5 days since I bought it. I have a Clown, Kole Tang, Dominoe Damsel, Blue Damsel, and a Niger Trigger with the Marble Wrasse. Oh yeah the lfs said they were feeding it brine. I asked the store and they told me that it was just getting used to it's new environment, which I understand, but 5 days.

Try this link: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/marine/fi...sses/anampses/
The one you have looks like a Anampses meleagrides. From reading that page, they look very hard to keep captive. Let us know what you find out. That's a nice looking fish though. |
