Parapterois heterura

I added a Parapterois heterura to my 24 gallon tank FOWLR today, (not the 29 gallon reef), anyone know anything about him? I'm bad about impuslively buying these critters, I was planning on feeding him Mysis shrimp, which is what my friend had been feeding him. Also I haven't seen him eat yet, but, like I said, I bought him from a friend, and he said that he had already fed the fish today so he probably wont be hungry again today. So is mysis a good diet? Any other info would be appreciated.

Hi Arctic Fox!

Check out the online resources thread. You should be able to find everything you are looking for in there......

Raw shrimp from the store would be better for long term. Use a feeding stick and wave it slowly before it. This should produce a feeding response.

Unhappy

He's dead...
Found him under the starfish last night.
Not sure what killed him, best guess right now is shock, because I found out that he had only been in my friend's tank for a day which means he was in at least 3 different tanks within a 4 day period...
