what is the biggest bluetang you have seen

i am trying to find out how fast their growth rate is in a tank. so if you have one or have seen one what is the biggest blue tang (paracanthurus hepatus) you have seen. and what size tank. about how many other larger size fish. thats it and thanks. oyeah sorry almost forgot how long in the tank or age if known

humm i guess no one in reefland has ever had one of these fish.

They get about 1 foot and will grow from the size of a 50 cent piece to about 5-6" in about 1 year. I have 2 in the store right now that have been brought in from customers. They both turned aggressive when they got older and were crowded in a 55 and 125 gal tanks. One eats Feather Dusters. I have also owned one that took a liking to the tentacles on open brain and Favia corals. They are rather nervous fish who usually hide when you approach the tank but quickly emerge if you stand still and back away a few feet from the tank.

You must be talking about the Regale/Hippo Blue Tang and not the Powder Blue Tang?
