I would not keep any sharks. They grow too big, too fast. I had sharks and never again. I love them too much to put them thrpugh it.
Unless you can give them really big tank, Iwould not keep them. I had a 300 gallon tank that became too small too fast for a leopard and horn shark. Horn sharks are better but you should get at least 300 gallons to start out with. Forget nurse sharks, black tip or white tip. These are way too big. If you plan to keep horn sharks, kee the water temperature lower than normal. around 72 degrees. They like coooler water. They also will attack your blue spot when feeding and your blue spot may get injured and not recover. I owudl keep the blue spots in species tank only with lots of deep sand and nothing else. Is the bleu spot eating well for you? They can stop one day for no apparent reason. Good Luck, but I would kee these animals in the wild unless you can provide them wiht the environment they need. |
