liverock and fresh water
sorry to post this in multiple forums, but I only have a short window of time to do this. The question is: if i clean off my liverock in a bucket of fresh water, will the lack of salt cause damage to the bacteria in the rock?
thanks |

Franklin,
I am pretty sure you will cause much of the live organisms in the rock to off. When you put it back in your tank you will have a small cycle..... (spike in ammonia & nitrate)
