cleaning live rock
I have a 75 gal that i just tore down and setup again because it just wasnt done right 75% of my live rock had hair algae and other bad algae that rock is now dry. I am a beginner how do i clean it and re introduce it to my tank without having tons of die off to mess up my levels. I have heard bleach but that worries me. Please help. I am not a rich man any rock i have i want to use even if i have to recure it seperateley.

Hhhhmmm
Not sure what you mean when you say the rock is "Dry."
If you want to clean the hair algae off the rock, then try a stiff brush and some elbow grease in a bucket of salt water. However, if you want to try it a different way, you can talk to your local fish store and ask them to sell you something that eats the algae. Good luck |

I would agree with the above. Only use bleach when cleaning dead coral deco's that are white. Then be very careful and rinse very well after, and before putting in tank.
