Looks like spider webs are growing in my Refugium

Could some tell me what this is or what makes it? It looks like spider webs in my refugium. Thanks

Looks like a red slime algae to me. Hard to tell cause the pics are blurry. Try this, make sure the front of the camera is parallel to the front of the tank, and back away a little bit, so the camera can focus. If you shoot on an angle to the glass things in the tank will always look blurry.

Are you talking about the brown colored stings that look like roots or the white film?

The white film stuff but it l;ooks like spider webs to me up close, sorry for the bad pictures I'm new to taking pictures of the aquarium.

Ok, it is very difficult to tell but it looks like small sponges developing.

I have something very similar growing.... the concensus was sponges. Here's my post; you can see if they match up.

Funny stuff growing (with pic)

It's the first set of pics that I'm referring to. I thought they looked like spider webs myself.
