False percula clown (Amphiprion ocellaris) question??

hey guys and girls. i have this False percula clown (Amphiprion ocellaris) in my 20gal nano. i have him for about a year. he is not that much bigger than the day i bought him. right now he is about 1 1/4" got a good measurement on him. he is eatting very good, swimming around being a noral clown. anyone why he is staying so small?

lol. but i like him small. i knida want to move him to my 115gal. if i do and dont add any other clown will he stay small??hopping so.

Not necessarily. The fish is going to grow but adding another would allow for one of them to become dominant and get larger.

ok let me see. if i understand right, he will grow to normal size of 3-4 inches very slowly if no female or anenome is present. is this right. or will he remain on the small side say under 2" unless he becomes a she or i add another clown or anenome. sorry to bug you with these trivial question but i really really want to know

Adding a second clown will provide one of them the opportunity to become female and therefore be the more dominant of the two. The female sometimes displays slightly different color and becomes larger than the male.
