My Fowlr

Nothing special. i dont have mutch liverock in there because I have a california stingray. The fish in this tank are

1. Cali Stingray
2. Volitan Lion
3. Chainlink Eel

Aren't you concerned about the lack of biological filtration? Liverock is essential to any marine aqaurium in my opinion, without it your not providing any area for bacteria colonies to develop properly.

I do have some live rock in there. I have mostly live sand. The ray needs a wide open sand area to move around.

The Ray is cool....

I also agree with Scott. You could always add a sump with plenty of live rock to act as your filtration..... I can't tell, do you have a skimmer on the tank?

I'm fairly sure that the 'live sand' won't be able to handle that bio-load alone. What other filtration do you have on the aquarium? How long has this aquarium been setup? When did the last marine life get added?
