feeding.
I have a 55 FOWLR:
I have 2 percs, 1 cherub angel. Recently the cherub has been getting nips on the tail. I think it is the clowns. What can I do to stop this, or it is just something the FISH will work out? Back to my question. I have been a little worried , about my cherub angel feeding. It might not be getting enough food. It doesn't graze as much anymore ever since it has developed the taste for PREPARED food. When I do feed, the clowns are the 1st ones to get there. What can I do? Thanks... ![]() |

I have a lemonpeel and a coral beauty angel. They went through a phase when they were picky eaters. Have you tried seaweed selects? My little guys love that stuff and haven't been picky since. Good luck.

Whenever I get concerned that a fish is not getting its fair share of the food. I put some food at one end of the tank and let the aggressive feeders go to it. Then I put a little food at the other end. This usually helps everyone get their fair share.
Don't worry overly much about the Percs beating up on the Charub. They'll work out their territories. Unless you have a pretty small tank (less than 30 gal), then it could be a problem. If the percs get too frisky, you may have to make some decisions about your inhabitants.

Thanks for the replies. I might try that feed on one side, and on the other. It's just that the cherub's "grazing" instinct might have faded. Today i boosted feeding to 2-3 times a day. It is back to grazing also, more now. Hopefully it's good.. Thanks for replies. I might at a SAND SIFTING GOBY.. heheh ![]() |
